What is a Children's Centre?

Children’s Centres provide a variety of services that are designed to support children (aged 0 - 5 years) and their families. Services are available from pregnancy right through to when your child goes into reception class at primary school. Families in our community may use the Centre for many different services or activities.  Children’s Centre services are available for forty-eight weeks of the year, but may vary due to the needs of the community.

How Children’s Centres can help you

Children’s Centres bring different support agencies together to offer a range of services to meet you and your child’s needs. Your child can make friends and learn as they play. You can get professional advice on health and family matters, learn about training and job opportunities, and we welcome community engagement in our setting through volunteer opportunities.
